This face powder by Charlotte Tilbury is one of the more expensive face powders I’ve tried but this blog is all about telling you why the investment is worth it! As summer hits, trying to make my base look even some what flawless is nearing on impossible no matter what foundation I’ve used. Being a mum means I don’t have a huge amount of time in the mornings to apply the perfect base too so I wanted a powder that would help in the mornings but also be good for the odd touch up to take me through the evening if necessary too.
The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish powder is a fantastic fine pressed powder compact which offers a light coverage with a beautiful finish. It reduces shine without looking flat and provides a wonderful airbrush finish to your foundation. I’ve been using a mineral powder foundation recently too so this adds a lovely addition too and doesn’t look cakey or dry.
Whilst the product is only 8g compared to say MAC’s mineralise skinfinish 10g, it is a fantastic compact and I find the coverage is slightly better than skinfinish in someways! At £36.00 it’s an investment for a face powder but it really does complete a look and even in the 30C heat, its kept me looking fresh from the start of the day to the end. I really enjoyed using this and the compact itself looks adorable in your bag!

I’m actually glad that it didn’t come with one of those puffs that don’t apply the product nicely, if you use a nice soft powder brush then this applies like a dream and it’s well worth giving this a try if like me you want an airbrush finish without the matte look/dry feeling! Check it out for yourself here and see which shade will suit you best, I am a shade 1! The only downside is that there’s only two shades from what I can see so darker skins may struggle with this!
