Benefit Cosmetics knows how to do a good brow product, it was only a couple of years ago where they fully overhauled the whole brow range bringing in some new products as well as new packaging for the older items. Benefit is one brand that I own a LOT from, so if you’re in the market for a new brow product or confused which one will suit you – this is a guide to all your benefit cosmetics brow products.
Brow Zings – £27.00 – LINK
This is one of the oldest brow products Benefit houses – Brow Zings used to come in a cardboard box but these days is fabulous in it’s shiny little compact. The kit contains a pigmented wax and complimenting powder as well as a tiny tweezer. It’s easy to use, all brushes included in the kit and tweezers are handy for travel. There are six shades available so it suits most brow colours.
Good for: This kit is good for someone who isn’t after super defined outlined brows. If you like a natural look but want to keep everything in place, this is the product for you. The colours last and the use of wax and powder means you can have texture to your brows. The kit will last you a life time too!
Precisely, My Brow Pencil – £21.50 – LINK
This pencil is one of my favourite products from Benefit. I was so surprised by this pencil as it’s quite different from most on the market. It provides an extremely fine line and comes in six shades. It wears extremely well and provides the option to create extra length on your brows.
Good for: If you prefer thinner defined brows then this is for you. I like using this after I have had HD Brows or a Benefit Brow Wax to create the perfect arch. Whilst it is a pencil, the product is slightly waxy so can keep things slick. It’s also perfect if you have sparse brows to fill in.
Goof Proof Brow Pencil – £21.50 – LINK
Goof Proof Brow pencil is the ideal product if you have sparse brows. Even if you’ve had a wax or treatment, you may find that it’s a touch empty in places, especially at the edge. It has a non-sharpen pencil so great for using everyday. Using this takes some practice as it’s thicker than the previous products but it is great for filling in your brows especially when freshly waxed.
Good for: Anyone with patchy, sparse brows will benefit from this pencil and the fact it doesn’t require sharpening makes for easy everyday use.
High Brow Glow – £19.00 – LINK
This product isn’t strictly a brow product in the conventional sense but it is a bit of a treat product if you are fan of a ‘on fleek’ brows. (Whatever happened to that phrase!) This is a chubby brow pencil that takes the brown away and replaces it with highlight. A champagne pink colour that highlights the arches and brow area. If you ever have a benefit brow wax, you’ll know they love their arches so add this and you’re looking perfectly lifted.
Good for: Lifting the brow bone, making your eyes pop (use also in the inner corners) and ideal if you want a natural glow instead of a shimmer highlight powder.
Browvo! Conditioning Eyebrow Primer – £24.00 – LINK
We know how important primer is for making your base and eyeshadows last so why not do the same for your brows. Enriched with Keratin and proteins, this primer has a few added qualities to it. Not only can you wear this as a primer before or after product but you can also apply at night to help boost your brows to achieve thicker, healthier, fuller eyebrows.
Good for: If you’re suffering with patchy brows then look into using a primer, this is a great way to start looking after your brows whilst also keeping them in place and lasting all day. Great if you suffer with oily skin too as it will keep your product in place.
Gimmie Brow – £21.50 – LINK
Now I really have saved some of the best until last with Gimme Brow. This product is wonderful in every way, it makes everyday brow application easy, provides full or thin brows and the colour pay off is brilliant. The product is full of tiny fibres which when brushed through your brows provides fullness and thickness but also can be used to keep things precise and in place.
Good for: Everyday quick application as it’s so easy to brush agains the hair and then back into place. I love that it’s fool proof unlike some ‘drawing’ on techniques and the fact it can magically fill in the gaps is brilliant!
